AirBlue GPS

This post is also available in: Chinese (Simplified)

AirBlue GPS connects Bluetooth external GPS receivers to your iOS device. It enables location/navigation service on your iPod touch/iPad WiFi.

- It automatically connects to/disconnect from your GPS receivers.

- It is compatible with iBluever so that you can use Google Maps with iBluever + AirBlue GPS.

- It supports Bluetooth low power sniff mode.

To use your Nokia S60 phones as a GPS receiver, you can install Symarctic ExtGPS on your phone.

Does not work with tomtom 1.9

tomtom seems to turn on the native stack, loosing the connection to the external gps mouse.

    Any way to fix this?

It connects to the GPS for an instant but it disconnects in a moment. I hope you can fix it!

    Eric –

BigBoss doesn’t allow purchase of AirBlue since you haven’t confirmed that it is compatible with my version of iOS – 5.0.1. The demo worked ok. I tried installing an older version from your repo but got the ‘no payment’ message. Please provide the necessary confirmation at BigBoss soon, so i can go buy it!

    Thank you!

Second to that issue. I found the same problem, now moved to RoqyBT4 but do miss being able to use iBluever and AirblueGPS simultaneously. Unfortunately RoqyBT4 uninstalls AirblueGPS so I can’t even choose on or the other as needed. Subsequently I also found Navfree provides speed information with Roqy whereas it didn’t with Airblue.

    IGIS works now.
Eric fixed the problem almost overnight when I contacted him via the app. IGIS now works with Airblue just fine. Excellent service. Highly recommended.
